Endurance ® Doors has made a senior appointment to support its ongoing pursuit of manufacturing excellence . Tom Stephens joins the leading manufacturer of solid , secure and stylish composite doors as its operations manager .
In this new role , which has been created by wider management restructuring , Tom will oversee all aspects of operations . He will also help to drive continuous improvement , identifying opportunities to increase efficiency whilst maintaining exceptional levels of performance in key areas such as quality , output , lead times and health and safety .
Tom brings with him a wealth of expertise and experience . During his time at Mercedes , Tom gained exposure to the brand ’ s manufacturing operations and was drawn to this business area , subsequently spending the next decade and a half in different manufacturing leadership and managerial roles . This included eight years at Mira Showers where he was responsible for the company ’ s production plant and a team of 100 employees . More recently , Tom was head of production at Willerby – the UK ’ s largest manufacturer of static caravans , holiday homes and lodges .
