ERA invests in future talent for National Apprenticeship Week

As part of this year ’ s National Apprenticeship Week ( 5th-11th February 2024 ), leading UK manufacturer of home security and fenestration products ERA , announced the appointment of two new apprentices to its team , as part of its commitment to providing learning opportunities for young talent within the local community .
Developed by Tyman UK & Ireland , a division of the Tyman group that includes ERA , the apprenticeship scheme welcomes Aaron Robinson , who joins as a Customer Support Engineer Apprentice . He will be undertaking his Engineering Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship within the engineering team , and will be assisting with customer visits and providing technical support and fit-ups for new products .
Ryan Hammond also joins the team as a Sustainability Apprentice . He will be working towards his Level 4 Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Practitioner Apprenticeship , working alongside Lara Coutinho , Tyman UK & Ireland ’ s Sustainability Programme Manager , to help the business achieve the milestones set out in its 2030 Sustainability Roadmap .
Every apprentice within the scheme receives the opportunity to work alongside
colleagues across Tyman UK & Ireland brands , including ERA , helping to develop their knowledge and expand their skillsets .

The training and support in the apprentice programme has really helped me to grow , and I ’ m grateful to have had the opportunity to start my career here .”
