Quickslide partners with Morley
Glass to enhance product offering
Leading window and door
FAB&FIX DECORATIVE
HARDWARE NOW
OFFERS PEWTER OPTION
With three decades of real
world testing and featuring truly
matching products, the Fab&Fix
range of decorative hardware
incorporates four distinct lines:
Classic, Heritage, Architectural
and S-Series, thereby ensuring
a co-ordinated finished look for
any application. Now, the security
expert ERA has introduced the
option of a Pewter finish to its
Fab&Fix range of decorative
hardware.
The industry-renowned ‘Har-
dex’ surface finish technology is
only available on the Fab&Fix
range. This resilient coating has
surpassed 1,000 hours of prohe-
sion testing, making it one of the
most durable finishes available.
The range offers a ten-year com-
plete peace of mind guarantee,
which covers function, the finish
and also forms part of ERA’s
‘Total Security Guarantee’. This is
the most comprehensive warranty
on the market. If a property is
protected by ERA’s high security
locks and hardware, the com-
pany guarantees to replace the
homeowner’s damaged window
or door and pay out a cheque for
£5,000 in the unlikely event that
their security is compromised.
This payout is further enhanced
if the homeowner has an ERA
intruder alarm fitted.

manufacturer Quickslide has
made the decision to put the
ethos of ‘home grown’ at the
heart of a new investment this
year, as they announce a new
partnership with local blinds
supplier Morley Glass. The move
will be of major interest to cus-
tomers, as the decreased distance
and an enhanced product offer-
ing equals shorter lead times and
an improved turnaround.
“Our new relationship with
Morley Glass began back in
December to ensure that we
were ready to hit the ground
running with orders in January,”
explained Managing Director
Ben Weber. “When it comes to
integral blinds, our customers
are increasingly requesting
wider variation in both colour
and operating systems. We have
taken on two of Morley’s core
manual control products; the
‘C System’ which features a
rotational cord and a cordless
magnetic slider system, known as
the ‘SV System’. Each of these are
available in traditional, timeless
colours including white, creams
and greys, but for homeowners
wanting to make more of a state-
ment through their windows, the
choice of bright primary colours
provide a great alternative. The
proximity of Morley’s premises
to us means that we can support
the wider cause to be eco-friend-
ly by having vehicles on the road
for less time, and making more
efficient journeys.”
The slim control style of the
Morley Glass devices makes
them ideal for integrating blinds
into any product across the
comprehensive Quickslide range;
a benefit Ben expects to attract
new business over the coming
months.

Yale DWS and SWC Trade Frames
celebrate 15-year partnership
Scarborough-based
trade fabricator SWC
Trade Frames has been an
advocate of Yale’s prod-
uct range for over 15
years, particularly
its multipoint
door locks and
most recently, its
Platinum 3 Star
cylinder. Plus, the
company was the
very first to launch Yale’s
new £1,000 anti-snap cylin-
der guarantee back in July
2019.
Mark Catchpole, Sales
Director at SWC Trade
Frames, comments: “The
relationship between SWC
and Yale is truly invalua-
ble. After partnering with
Yale for so many years, we
have developed complete
faith in not only its product
quality, but also the brand’s
dependability.
“We know that when
we’re using Yale products,
everything has been tried
and tested to the maxi-
mum standards. Plus, Yale’s
commitment to informed
design, responsible manu-
facturing and sustainability
considerations assures us
that we are delivering top
quality products to our
own customers.”
The Platinum 3 Star
Cylinder is Yale’s most
secure lock yet; so much so
in fact that Yale is offering
a £1,000 guarantee in the
unlikely event that the
cylinder is snapped under
attack due to a forced
break-in.
