NOTHING TO LOSE,
EVERYTHING TO GAIN
Somerset roof and conservatory specialist Warmer Roof knows that 2018
will be hard to top, but predicts this year will be the best one yet. Never
one to be greedy in its own success though, MD Karl Muspratt and his
team are inviting installers to “make more money through Warmer

THE PRODUCT

feel for Warmer Roof stems

“As many conservatories
have been fitted in previ-
ous years, there became an
obvious need for roofing
systems to be updated as
these conservatories be-
came older. We are the sole
suppliers of our roofing
systems and do not have
fabricators, so we have
complete control of each
roof supplied knowing that
it has been manufactured to
the exacting standards of its
accreditation (such as JHAI
14029 for timber and JHAI
14026 for pitched).”
These roof systems
include a timber flat roof
kit system, pitched flat
roof system – each availa-
ble with or without a roof
lantern. Achieving a lowest
U Value of 0.14 W/m2 the
brand name ‘Warmer Roof’
is no empty promise. The
Warmer Flat Roof system is
supplied with or without an
EPDM covering, which is a
one piece covering with no
joints. This is applied to the
external roof structure and
is affixed to the substruc-
ture by cold adhesive. The
EPDM membrane has a
40-year guarantee. Plus, all
finishing trims are supplied
together with all the neces-
sary adhesives, or Warmer
Roof customers are able
to supply their own roof
covering on request.
It’s the ease of installation
though, that makes the sys-
tem a hit with fitters. With
the pod system the required
insulation is already fitted
within, and the pod is just
lowered into position be-
tween the rafters and eaves
beam, and then secured
with fixings supplied in
the roof kit. Likewise, with
no internal cross battening
required, the time it would
usually take to cut insula-
tion is removed from the
equation, with all insulated
plaster board supplied with
the original price.
THE PEOPLE
Speaking of the team,
Karl says: “Our Production
Director Gary Corbett is
one of the most experi-
enced roof fabricators in
the industry and can assist
in complicated or awkward
designs offering a solution
in most cases. Although
the majority of Gary’s time
is spent in a shop floor
environment Gary is also
customer focused and wait-
ing to assist new or existing
projects.
“Dilip Choudhury, Na-
tional Sales Manager is a
well-known figure in the
industry and has worked
for some of the largest

suppliers across a 15-year
career. As such, Dilip was
aware of all the current
lightweight roof systems
available in the market,
but chose Warmer Roof as
he felt that the system had
more to offer than any oth-
er systems currently availa-
ble. The lowest U value of
any system of 0.14Wm2, a
pelmet and soffit upgrade,
quicker installation times
and the price point of the
system, together with new
innovations to be added to
the system all led to Dilip’s
decision to join Warmer
Roof.”
