NEW EPWIN DIRECTOR WILL FOCUS
ON ‘CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE’
Epwin Group has announced that ex-Mul-T-Lock Managing Director Robert
Hartill has joined the company as Business Improvement Director.
Robert has 26 years’ experience in the security sector
having previously worked for
Chubb Security, Hoppe and
Grouphomesafe, the last of
which he spent six years at
director level.
His appointment at Epwin is
part of Managing Director Clare
O’Hara’s wider strategy of maintaining the company’s position
as leader in the industry. Robert’s
focus will be very much on the
customers and their experience of
dealing with the company.
“This is an exciting time to be
joining Epwin,” Robert said. “The
wealth of experience already within the group, alongside some of
the new appointments, is creating
a formidable team.
“The investment in new products
and production facilities will help us
improve our customers’ experience,
and my efforts will be focused on
supporting the sales team, making
us easier to do business with, and
bringing more cohesion across the
brands and functions.
“For over 20 years I have worked
with Epwin as a supplier and
always admired the business and
the professionalism and ethos
of their people, and from those
I’ve already spoken to, it’s a great
place to work.”
Clare explained that Robert’s
appointment was a major coup for
Epwin.
“Robert’s experience and success
in the security sector is practically unmatched,” she said. “Many
people understand the link between customer satisfaction and
improved sales, but very few have
the confidence and tenacity to
make valuable improvements to a
company’s culture.”

Liniar’s Design and Development and
Marketing teams will tackle the Wolf Run, a
10km course featuring a series of man-made
and natural obstacles, to raise funds for the
Royal Derby Hospital’s Neonatal unit.
Winter Wolfe Gaskin, grandson of Liniar’s
Design and Development Director Adrian
‘Reg’ Redshaw, sadly passed away just one
day after his birth in October last year.
Adrian’s daughter Nicola and her partner,
Dean Gaskin, had been excitedly awaiting
the arrival of their first child. But following
a healthy pregnancy and natural labour,
Winter Wolfe suddenly stopped breathing
after just 30 minutes with his new parents
and tragically died the next day, although
doctors battled to save him.
Nicola and Dean have since raised more
than £3,000 for the hospital’s ‘Support The
Baby Unit Fund.’
When Liniar’s Nikki Dunbar, Design and
Marketing Co-ordinator, came across an
event called the Wolf Run, she immediately
suggested that the two departments enter
a team. A total of 14 Liniar staff, including
Marketing Director Sue Davenport and D&D
Manager Chris Armes, will be joined by
Dean on Saturday, April 9.
Based in Warwickshire, the Wolf Run
(standing for ‘Woods, Obstacles, Lakes and
Fields’), is a tough mix of running trails
across open ground and through woodland,
as well as open-water swimming.
