MITSUBISHI MOTORS IN THE UK SUPPORTS SCREWFIX
“BRITAIN’S TOP TRADESPERSON” COMPETITION
Britain’s Top Tradesperson 2018 competition has now launched inviting builders,
electricians, carpenters and plumbers across the UK to be recognised for the great work
that they do in keeping our homes and local businesses in the best condition.
The annual competi-
tion, organised by Screwfix
and supported by Mitsubishi
Motors in the UK, aims to
highlight and recognise the
great work tradespeople do
across the country and this
year’s winner not only takes
home the coveted title of
Britain’s Top Tradesperson
2018, which will transform
their business, but they also
drive away in a brand-new
Mitsubishi L200 Warrior
pick-up truck worth £33,000
(OTR).
Screwfix will select the
best tradespeople to face-
off in a regional heat and
from there, 10 finalists from
across the UK will head to
LEKA systems now LABSS approved
LEKA Systems has just announced that its LEKA
Warm Roof and LEKA Orangery Roof systems have
received Registered Detail approval from Local
Authority Building Standards Scotland (LABSS).
The announcement
means that LEKA Systems’
products are pre-approved
for use throughout the
whole of Great Britain
because they already had
System Approval from jhai
so had fast track Building
Regulations approval in
England and Wales.
The pre-approvals on the
systems reflect their qual-
ity and thermal efficiency
benefits. Their lightweight
construction means they can
be installed on existing con-
servatories without needing
additional reinforcement
while they deliver U values
of just 0.15 W/m²K.
The accreditation is the
perfect example of LEKA’s
proactive approach and
another tick in the box for
fabricators and installers.
For example, LEKA fabrica-
tors and installers receive
full product and technical
training to get them up and
running quickly. There’s
powerful marketing support
and lead generation too,
including television adver-
tising. Plus, the products
are quick and easy to install
too.
