BUILD ON GDPR
SEMINAR SUCCESS

ON A ROLL WITH
WINNING INSTALLATIONS
Inspiring ideas and innova-
tive products have helped three
seasoned Atlas installers to create
some impressive installations that
show just what can be achieved
with an Atlas glazed roof.
Mendip Conservatories, John
Knight Glass and Monmouthshire
Conservatory Company have
created three spectacular, yet very
different installations to take the
latest winning places in the Atlas
Installation of the Month compe-
tition.
The Atlas Skyroom proved to
be the ultimate glazed product to
help installer Mendip Conservato-
ries revamp a tired conservatory
in Nailsea, near Bristol and inspire
the owner to think beyond the
conventional.
Wirral-based John Knight Glass
satisfied a homeowner’s strict brief
for more space and light with a
stunning 4 x 1 metre Atlas lantern
installation on a new build home
in Chester.
With a reputation for inventive
design, Monmouthshire Conserva-
tory Company did not disappoint
the judges with an ingenious
conversion on a period property
in Gloucestershire.
Regulation (GDPR) will become
law on 25 May 2018 and is now a
major topic of discussion across
the UK.
With not a spare seat left, a suc-
cessful one day GDPR awareness
workshop organised by the Glass
and Glazing Federation (GGF)
on 11 April in Solihull proved
informative and highly useful for
delegates. The GGF is now hosting
another workshop on 14 June in
London to further help companies
in the industry who are uncertain
of how the new regulation will
impact their business.
With limited spaces available,
GGF Members can register to the
seminar for free with non-mem-
bers able to attend for a fee of
£245.00. This informative semi-
nar is filled with tailored content
to address the challenges that
glass and glazing businesses will
face following the enactment of
GDPR.
The June workshop in London
is part of a partnership the GGF
has formed with Cybercrowd,
to deliver a series of interactive
workshops. These are designed
to inform delegates of their legal
obligations in relation to data han-
dling under GDPR and to allow
delegates to ask the experts any
questions.
The next GGF GDPR workshop
is on 14 June at the GGF Offices
in London. Spaces are limited so
to book your place or for more
information, please contact Rich-
ard Hearn via email rhearn@ggf.
