Whole House Luxury, Trade-Friendly Fit
What makes ALUNA stand out is its installer-first design. Whether it’ s a bifold, French door, entrance door or shaped frame, the same system supports multiple configurations— reducing complexity in fabrication and streamlining jobs on-site.
Key spec stats include:
• Adjustable jambs for quicker fitting
• Door restrictors to prevent overopening
• Square and textured sash options( 7016 grey)
• Floating corner posts for dramatic openings
• Smart tolerances(+/- 4mm) for easier adjustment
• Slim, contemporary profiles that meet PAS24 security standards
The ALUNA Sliding Door System also enables expansive openings with sash sizes up to 2.5m x 2.7m and offers a super-slim sightline that supports double or triple glazing, integrated blinds, and low U-values.
“ We’ re fabricating more aluminium than ever before,” says Paddy.“ But what matters is that we’ re doing it in a way that reflects who we are: a reliable trade supplier who understands how fitters work, and what they need from their products.”

Trade Support That Goes Beyond Supply
This approach to aluminium mirrors NTW’ s wider mission to offer more than just windows and doors. Over three decades, the business has built a reputation for supporting sole traders and small partnerships who need more than just product— they need peace of mind.
“ Our customers are often one-man bands or small teams juggling everything from quotes and scheduling to installs and customer service,” Paddy adds.“ They don’ t have time to chase missing parts or correct orders that don’ t fit. That’ s where we come in.
“ We don’ t choose products because they look good in a brochure; we choose them because they’ ve proven themselves on-site, under pressure.”
Trade Treatment with Commercial Know-How
While the company’ s roots are in trade, NTW has successfully delivered large-scale commercial projects too, experience that directly benefits its trade customers.
Projects such as a 684-bed student accommodation scheme in Norwich( involving over 1,000 windows) have honed

NTW’ s logistics and project management capabilities. This expertise is then channelled back into the trade service.
“ We often say our trade customers get commercial treatment,” Paddy explains.“ That means precision, professionalism and accountability, whether you’ re ordering two windows or 200.”
Built on Loyalty, Shaped by Experience
Behind the aluminium innovation and trade-first mindset is a family business with deep roots. Founded in 1994 by industry veteran John Cosgrove, Northern Trade Windows started as a small uPVC supplier with a big emphasis on personal service. That commitment to quality and honesty helped the company grow rapidly through the 2000s; even weathering the 2008 recession with the opening of a second site in Bradford.
Today, the business is led by Managing Director Elliot Cosgrove, John’ s son, who grew up alongside the company. From helping out during school holidays to joining as a self-employed salesman in 2014,

Elliot has helped steer NTW into its current growth phase, alongside Paddy, who was brought on to support the next generation of the business.
“ What makes NTW special is the continuity, from the Cosgrove family, from our factory team, and from the installers who’ ve stuck with us through thick and thin,” says Paddy.
“ When you deal with us, you’ re not just buying a frame, you’ re tapping into 30 years of installer insight, hard-earned systems, and the kind of service you can’ t fake.”
Looking Ahead
With its aluminium range now fully operational, NTW is positioning itself to serve the modern installer, whether the job is a garden room bifold, a wholehouse refurb, or a new-build extension.
For NTW, growth doesn’ t mean leaving their roots behind. Instead, it means evolving their offer while staying true to the values that built the business in the first place.
