year’s FIT show, the UK’s
leading trade show for
windows and doors.
Launched last year, the comprehen-
sive Smart Designer Door range features
a wide choice of styles and designs, from
the contemporary Modern collection, to the
Traditional, Cottage and Vintage portfolios,
whose designs sit perfectly with more rural
properties or the timeless styles of the Vic-
torian, Edwardian and Regency eras. Smart’s
FIT Show stand showcased a number of
style variants, all of which are complement-
ed by a wide range of size, glazing and
door furniture options, as well as a broad
spectrum of colours and finishes from
Smart’s extensive colour palettes.

VEKA PROFILE HITS
THE RIGHT NOTE FOR
GLAZERITE INSTALLER
Renowned for its versatility and
modern features, the VEKA M70 Ful-
ly Sculptured window system was the
perfect solution to replace old wooden
frames on a Worcestershire property.
The installation was carried out by Eco-
logic Windows, a Glazerite UK Group Ltd
installer partner owned by former VEKA
and Glazerite employee, Fred Doodey.
Fred’s team fitted 10 windows over four
days to the front of the property, in the
increasingly popular Agate Grey from
the VEKA Variations range. The finish-
ing touch was the addition of a stunning
VEKA Solitaire composite door in Anthra-
cite Grey.
Fred and his team used Satin glass in
the bathroom window and the entrance
door sidelights, adding further personality
to the striking installation.
