SHOOTING FOR SALES
Ultraframe has invested heavily in stunning new
photography to assist its customers in promoting
their businesses and boosting sales. Around 1000
new professional images of beautiful Ultraframe
conservatories and extensions are now available for use.
Commenting on this
latest investment into sup-
porting customers, Ultra-
frame Head of Marketing,
Andrew Parmenter, said:
“We know that high-quali-
ty marketing materials are
vital for our customers to
generate leads and win
sales. Professional photo-
shoots can be time-consum-
ing and costly and so many
installers simply don’t get
round to arranging them
themselves. That’s where
we step in. We’ve recently
commissioned professional
photoshoots around the UK
showcasing our full range
of products on a variety of
homes and the results are
fantastic. There are now
around 1000 new images
which have been added into
our online UDAM photo
library - in addition to the
thousands which are al-
ready in there - and they are
all available to use by our
customers, completely free
of charge.”
The images from each
shoot show internal, exter-
nal and aerial shots of the
installations and are ideal
for use in Ultraframe cus-
tomer’s marketing materials,
including literature, web-
sites, and social media.
Explaining more about
how Ultraframe customers
can benefit from using the
high-quality imagery, An-
drew said: “While the images
can be used across a wide
range of materials, we’ve
already seen a fantastic re-
sponse to them when using
them on our Ultraframe
consumer-facing social
media channels. We would
encourage our customers to
also use them in this way
to benefit from a high level
of online engagement and
subsequent leads.”
Not only are the images
available via the Ultra-
frame UDAM online photo
library, but they will also be
included in the new Cuckoo
system. The innovative
online platform provides
Ultraframe customers with
templates for a wide range
of marketing materials
which can quickly and
easily be personalised with
their branding and other
information, and produced
at a low cost.
VEKA UK GROUP JOINS LANCASHIRE AMBASSADORS
Burnley-based VEKA UK
Group, the industry leader in
PVCu profile systems, has joined
its home county’s growing net-
work of official ‘Ambassadors’,
with MD Dave Jones as represent-
ative.
Lancashire Ambassadors,
launched by Marketing Lancashire,
brings together Lancashire busi-
ness leaders who share a passion
for the county’s success and a
desire to champion Lancashire’s
world-leading businesses and
sectors.
A group of well-known Lan-
castrians, including the very first
Lancashire Ambassador, Andrew
‘Freddie’ Flintoff, have committed
to helping Marketing Lancashire
promote the county nationally
and internationally for the greater
prosperity of those who invest,
live and work in the Red Rose
county. Andrew appears in a rous-
ing video created for the launch of
the Lancashire Ambassadors which
celebrates the county’s unique
qualities and assets.
VEKA UK Group’s Dave Jones
said: “The launch of Lancashire
Ambassadors is a great idea;
highlighting all the incredible
benefits and opportunities of our
fair county.
“We’ve always been proud of
our Burnley roots, from which
we’ve flourished as a company,
and we’ve been championing
Lancashire for decades. We’re very
proud to now be doing so in an
‘official’ capacity.
“The majority of our 380 staff
live in the local area and, since
opening in Burnley in 1986, VEKA
UK Group has grown from just
4 extrusion lines to 34 extrusion
lines and 450,000 sq. ft. of manu-
facturing space.
“We were crowned Manufac-
turing Business of the Year at the
2019 Red Rose Business awards,
and Employer of the Year at the
last Burnley Business Awards. We
are very proud of our reputation
as a leading employer for the
region and we’re looking forward
to working with fellow Lancashire
Ambassadors in the year ahead.”
VEKA UK Group has a history
of innovation driven by knowl-
edge and experience, from the
first ever A-rated window, to a pio-
neering approach to PVCu
recycling. The compa-
ny’s product range
and service offering
continues to evolve,
setting the standard
by which others are
measured.
VEKA UK Group not
only manufactures prod-
ucts of exceptional quality and
durability, it does this responsibly;
mindful of the environment and
its people. As well as contributing
to Lancashire’s business economy,
VEKA UK Group is also proud
to support schools, charities and
community projects. The company
is recognised for everything from
sponsoring local football teams,
to ‘sleeping out’ at Turf Moor for
charity and even transforming a
dilapidated bus into an inspiring
reading space for local primary
school children.
Rachel McQueen, Chief Execu-
tive of Marketing Lancashire said
“I’m delighted to welcome Dave
Jones to the Lancashire Ambassa-
dor network.
“VEKA UK Group is a business
with a worldwide reputation that
has always been proud to speak
about its Lancashire heritage. When
we launched the search for county
champions who could work with
us to raise Lancashire’s profile as
a place to do business, as a place
for manufacturing excellence, as a
place for growth, VEKA UK Group
was a first port of call and Dave’s
enthusiasm for the initiative has
already made a great impression.
“We’re looking forward to
working in partnership and to
developing opportunities to share
Lancashire’s business success story
through VEKA UK Group’s nation-
al and international peers. This
growing network of Ambassadors
for Lancashire will work together
for the benefit of the whole coun-
ty, building a compelling voice
and momentum that will shine the
spotlight firmly on Lancashire.”
