BIGGER THAN EVER, THINNER THAN BEFORE

Pro Installer visits Regency Glass’ s factory as the company prepares to launch Regency Triple featuring Corning ® Enlighten™ Glass in spring 2026. The enormous new facility underlines the scale of ambition behind what promises to be a landmark product for the glazing sector, a journey that Clearview and Pro Installer have been proud to follow …
From Familiar Floors to a New Frontier
The visit began at Regency Glass’ s current Leigh factory, a facility that has been the backbone of the business since 2019. Founder and CEO Darren Beazant is joined by his daughter Natalie Hartley, son Bradley Beazant, Wayne Fitzmartin, Steve Massey, Wes Clarkson, and Lauren Addi, all guiding tours and explaining the layout and processes that have helped build the company’ s reputation.
Walking through the familiar corridors and highly efficient production lines, it’ s easy to appreciate the company’ s long-standing focus on quality, precision, and service. Staff here are experienced and dedicated; several have been with Regency for more than 30 years, a testament to the company’ s culture of loyalty, skill, and investment in its people.
Even in the current facility, innovation is evident. Steve Massey sums up the company’ s approach perfectly:“ We focus on the part of the window people don’ t see; the glass itself,” Steve Massey jokes, before stressing how crucial it is to do things‘ right’.“ Whatever we do, we do it properly or not at all— there’ s no half-measures.” That commitment to getting it right carries through to staff training, with iPads, locker chargers, and structured learning ensuring the team stays skilled and informed.
From Leigh, the tour moved to the new Warrington site, a striking contrast in scale and ambition. At 420,000 sq. ft., the facility is purpose-built to support the launch of Regency Triple featuring Corning ® Enlighten™ Glass. Glaston Ultra TPS ® IGU lines, HEGLA ® Galactic thin glass cutting tables, and HEGLA ® SortJet technology fill the space, ensuring precision, efficiency, and repeatable high-quality output.
At the centre of the investment is Regency Triple, a next-generation triple-glazed unit. Using Corning ® Enlighten™ Glass, a 0.5mm ultra-thin boro-aluminosilicate centre pane, the units weigh only slightly more than a standard double-glazed unit, fitting into existing frames without structural alterations.
Ultra-Thin, Ultra-Performance
While the Warrington facility impresses with scale, the real star is the Regency Triple itself. It delivers the thermal efficiency of a conventional triple-glazed unit while remaining light and easy to handle. This combination of thin profile, high performance, and simple installation removes traditional barriers to triple glazing adoption, making it suitable for new-build, retrofit, and energy-efficient housing projects.
The production lines mirror the precision of the product. Every step, from cutting to assembly, is automated where possible and backed by rigorous
staff training. The result is consistency and quality, ensuring that the ambitious performance of Regency Triple is delivered in every unit.
Darren Beazant emphasises the broader vision:“ We want installers to embrace triple glazing— it can be the one of the most cost effective ways to achieve energy efficiency in a house. We’ ve been trying to find the negatives with the product, but we can’ t find any downside to it.” Regency is not only setting a new benchmark for performance, but also making it easier for the industry to adopt and benefit from it.
A Very Big Moment
Standing inside Regency Glass’ s new factory, the scale of ambition is immediately clear. The enormous new site represents the company’ s biggest investment to date, built specifically to support what could be a landmark product for the glazing sector. While the ultra-thin triple glazing focuses on reducing weight and thickness, everything about its development points to a very big moment for the industry. Clearview and Pro Installer will continue to follow this journey, reporting on how Regency Triple changes the landscape of UK glazing.
