Greg Kane , CEO , Conservatory Outlet
Whilst the fenestration has shown signs of slowing down amidst another turbulent year of trading in 2023 , the Conservatory Outlet Network has bucked the wider industry trend ; it is on course to post double-digit growth over the past twelve months .
We ’ ve seen some real success stories this year . Despite the gloomy market sentiment and a tough start to the year with spiralling inflation and the ongoing cost of living crisis , our Network of retailers has posted strong sales results . This shows that with the right product , the right marketing and the right people , there are reasons to be extremely optimistic heading into 2024 .
At the time of publication , sales across the Conservatory Outlet Network were up 9.6 % year-onyear . With a strong end-to-theyear
|
forecast for the company ’ s regional retail partners , that figure is expected to easily push past the 10 % mark .
Impressively , several retailers from across the United Kingdom are on track to post record yearly sales . Leading the way are ERG Scotland and TWC Home Improvements , who have smashed their annual records with months to spare . Others such as Bon Accord Glass , Ecofit Windows & Doors , Eden Windows , and West Yorkshire Windows are substantially trending up year-on-year and , with a strong run in the coming weeks , could similarly post record sales figures in 2023 .
The Network ’ s success isn ’ t down to one single silver bullet . It ’ s about collective strength , entrepreneurship , and passion , all underpinned by a market-leading suite of windows , doors and living space products .
What sets the Network apart is that it is a collaborative unit .
|
Thanks to our unique model , members of the Network can jointly discuss and combat problems that affect the industry , free from the fear of competition .
This year , we ’ ve hosted many key sales , marketing and operation events that have helped to bring business leaders together and find common solutions to larger problems . We ’ ve also rolled out some very successful new marketing initiatives that have expanded our retailers ’ customer bases and aided the refurbishment of several showrooms across the country .
2023 has undoubtedly been a tough year for the industry as a whole - of that there is no doubt . But our Network has focussed on improving the customer experience and is reaping the reward of their efforts and continued investments .
In the past twelve months , Conservatory Outlet has expanded and continued to evolve its product range further
|
to meet the evolving needs of homeowners across the country . The Wakefield-based manufacturer has rolled out a brand-new collection of composite doors , added three new and exclusive colourways to its Extreme range of windows , and has made numerous advancements to its popular Envisage collection of timber-style windows .
‘ 2024 and beyond looks to be very promising indeed
’ Next year , the company plans to further expand its unique composite door range and has several other product launches earmarked for 2024 .
Importantly , Conservatory Outlet has also worked to build on its already impressive levels of customer service and business support . The fabricator
|
has strengthened its office team and has continued its work in reducing lead times and opening extra operational capacity . Additionally , the company ’ s marketing team and digital agency have worked together with its customers to devise innovative marketing strategies and ideas that have led to a surge in highly qualified leads .
But , the ultimate credit lies with the teams on the ground .
As much as we help , it ’ s our retailers across the country who are the true success stories . They have navigated a tough twelve months for the sector and are coming out the other side in a fantastic position .
It ’ s great to see such impressive sales figures across the board for our Network members , especially given the wider economic and market conditions . 2024 and beyond looks to be very promising indeed .
