FENSA BUSINESS
INSURANCE SERVICES
FURTHER EXTENDS
SUPPORT FOR
APPROVED INSTALLERS
As part of a concerted drive by its management team to extend the
services it offers to its Approved Installers, FENSA has now launched
its own brand of specialised business related insurance products.
The Ascot Group, which in- FENSA Business Insurance Services
cludes Purplex, the window
industry marketing agency, has
announced plans to create a
further 130 jobs over the next five
years, taking the total employed
by the group to over 200.
The news follows continued
growth at the agency, which
provides specialist PR, creative
and digital marketing services
to companies within the glazing,
building products and home im-
provement industries.
Ascot Group CEO and Founder,
Andrew Scott, commented; “From
taking on our first employee in
2007, the group has grown every
year with plans for another 130
jobs over the next 5 years. We’ve
been able to grow consistently by
working closely with customers.
By helping them grow, we grow
too.”
To support continued growth
the company has also secured
additional office space.
“We’re adding further desk
space, new training and confer-
ence facilities and will shortly
unveil a new video and podcast
production facility.”
Purplex works with ambitious
companies across trade, com-
mercial and consumer markets. is a trading name of Jelf Insurance Brokers
Ltd and is now offering a range of in-
surance policies tailored specifically for
FENSA Approved Installers that includes:
Public Liability, Employers Liability, Profes-
sional Indemnity, Cyber Insurance, Tools
Insurance, Business Insurance and Van/
Fleet Insurance. All policies have been
developed and selected with the needs of
installers of windows, doors, conservato-
ries and related products.
Anda Gregory, Managing Director of
GGF Commercial Group, which includes
FENSA, says that once again they are
responding to demand: “Our Approved In-
stallers highlighted to us they were keen
on having tailored insurance products
available to them through FENSA. We’ve
listened and have teamed up with a fellow
market leader, Jelf, to provide the cover
that our installation businesses require.
“We see this as part of our duty to pro-
vide industry leading products available
exclusively to FENSA Approved Installers
and to provide as many support services
as possible from a single, reliable and
trustworthy source.”
Paul Buckle, Managing Director of
Schemes and Affinities at Jelf said: “We’re
delighted to be working with FENSA
to provide insurance that meets the
needs of their Approved Installers. We’ve
worked closely with FENSA to under-
stand the specialist risks that face install-
ers and have developed a range of solu-
tions to protect against those risks. We
look forward to developing our relation-

ship with FENSA and making a success
of FENSA Business Insurance Services for
its Approved Installer members.”
The provision of insurance services
adds to established benefits available to
FENSA Approved Installers that include:
Fuelcards with discounts on petrol; dis-
counts at all Trade Point & B&Q Stores
across the country; glazing Industry-spe-
cific training courses & apprenticeships;
free BFRC Licences; homeowner finance;
and many others, as Chris Beedel, FEN-
SA’s Director of Membership, explains:
“FENSA Business Insurance Services is
the latest in a long line of FENSA benefits
that we’re bringing to our Approved In-
stallers and there’s a lot more in the pipe-
line over the next few months. As the
current TV advertising campaign demon-
strates, FENSA is a dynamic, pro-active
organisation that does far more than just
issue FENSA certificates, although we
have issued approaching 14 million of
those too.”
