Glazpart Continues Pigs Sponsorship
FIT SHOW BECOMES A GLAZPARTNER
Glazpart is delighted to announce that FIT Show has joined the Glazpartners initiative to further strengthen the relationship between the two companies .
The Glazpartners initiative is designed to promote the value of customer relationships in the fenestration industry and this latest partnership will bring greater collaboration and joint promotion for both FIT Show and Glazpart with multiple branding , PR and social media opportunities .
At 2023 ’ s FIT Show , Glazpart launched the Glazpartners initiative with an unrivalled bespoke window
and door display from 35 of the UK ’ s best window and door fabricators , systems houses and installers .
Glazpart is pleased to announce the company will continue to be a sponsor of PiGs ( People in Glazing Society ) throughout 2024 - PiGs 20th anniversary .
To celebrate being a key event in the industry calendar for the last 20 years and to celebrate PiGs 10th anniversary of Balls2 Marketing organising PiGs , there have been some changes to the branding and online communications including , the creation of a brand-new logo , a revamped website and the introduction of a PiGs newsletter which will add extra news about the people in glazing .

DHF announces that it has achieved ‘ Cyber Essentials ’ certification
Tamworth-based trade association , the Door & Hardware Federation ( DHF ), has announced that it has achieved ‘ Cyber Essentials ’ certification , an effective , Government-backed scheme supported by the NCSC ( National Cyber Security Centre ) that helps protect an organisation , whatever its size , against a variety of the most common cyber-attacks .
Cyber Essentials provides a framework to improve an organisation ’ s internal processes , focusing on five key technical security controls : Firewalls , Secure Configuration , Use Access Control , Malware Protection and Patch Management . The accreditation , achieved on 19th January 2024 , demonstrates that DHF has met the required level of compliance for its IT security and protection . DHF ’ s Commercial Director , Patricia Sowsbery-Stevens said : “ Certified cyber security demonstrates our enduring commitment and reassures our members that we are working to secure our IT against cyber-attack – and fundamentally protecting their data . Cyber Essentials is , in fact , required for many Government and public-sector contracts , making it a key driver of new sales and business growth . The certification will attract new business with the promise that cyber security measures are in place .”
