It is one of the most iconic colours in the history of British Pottery , now Wedgwood Blue has been used as the inspiration for a new door colour launched this week .
Pottery Blue , the newest addition to the Solidor colour range , is based on the famous grey-blue colour of Wedgwood . This iconic pottery which was first established in Burslem - one of six towns in Staffordshire that now forms Stoke-on-Trent - in 1759 .
