Black Millwork Aluminium Windows

Windows and doors manufacturer Black Millwork has a new range of aluminium windows in a move that reaffirms the company’ s commitment to an ever-growing product offering.
In recent years, many residential projects are based around more contemporary designs. This has led to increased demand for windows and doors with slim profiles, which don’ t clutter a home’ s aesthetic. Aluminium windows allow the company to satisfy this demand, as the material can be manufactured into incredibly thin profiles. Likewise, the company launched its popular aluminium door range in 2014 and the company is now completing this aluminium offering with a complementary window range.
It was this influx of demand for the slim profiles that influenced Black Millwork to start producing aluminium windows. The latest range in the company’ s portfolio has already been specified on a major redevelopment in London, comprising of six blocks of flats, each housing several hundred tenants. The new windows mean the company can now offer a much wider selection of solutions that cater for different aesthetic tastes and architectural styles.

GTI MAKES THE SWITCH

Ambitious Isle of Wight fabricator GTI Glazing Systems has become the latest fabricator to switch to profiles and products from Eurocell.
Founded by Neil and his two partners, Michael Roberts and Patrick Brady, in 1992, GTI Glazing Systems has grown to become the Isle of Wight’ s largest window and conservatory fabricator and installer. Now fabricating up to 300 windows per week, GTI has ten teams working exclusively on windows and conservatories, while other teams focus on commercial contracts and new build projects. Switching to Eurocell profiles is streamlined and simple because each new fabricator has its own technical support engineer who handles everything from initial set-up and advice on production efficiency through to trouble-shooting. The engineer is supported by a technical team ready to advise and a skilled team of designers and engineers that can write sample specifications for bespoke projects.
Eurocell technical support extends to BFRC accredited simulators that provide specifications and reports that prove to customers that the products meet the necessary BFRC performance standards.

POWERFUL NEW NETWORK PROGRAMME

Already recognised as the most influential composite door brand in the UK, Solidor is set to enhance its credentials further with the launch of a new, powerful Network Development Programme for 2018. First up is an upgrade of the Installer Search Engine on solidor. co. uk.
Designed to offer consumers complete transparency when selecting a door supplier, the aim of the new initiative is to promote the facilities of their nearest Solidor
retailer via a postcode driven search.
Trade partners are no longer categorised as‘ Premium’ and‘ Recommended’ and have instead been replaced by a series of icons which represent a number of business criteria and standards. These were assessed, following a trade audit carried out in 2017, and cover a variety of relevant measures, such as the nature of any showroom, what product they offer, and even whether they have FENSA or CERTAS certification.
