GROWTH THROUGHOUT
2015 AND BEYOND
Toolstation, one of Britain’s fastest growing
suppliers to tradepeople, discusses what
the future holds in 2015 and beyond.
First opening for business
in 2003, Toolstation currently employs over 2,000 people nationwide and prides
itself on is low trade prices
and efficient service.
John Meaden, Director of
Marketing, Toolstation said: “We
keep costs low so that customers
enjoy reliable trade products at
competitive prices. Industry-leading customers, warehousing
and supply systems mean that
while maintaining rapid growth,
Toolstation continues to meet
its promise to have great stock
availability on 11,000 products
for thousands of customers
across the UK.
“We have over 30 new branches planned for 2015, which is
part of an on-going roll out
program.
“We are also planning further
improvements to our website,
www.toolstation.com, to support
our busy customers, including
developing our click and collect
service.
“Beyond 2015, we are planning
even more branch openings,
whilst safekeeping our low cost
model and developing more services so that our customers will
always benefit.”
Toolstation is continuing its
growth plans with the opening
of two new branches in Greater
London, creating seven new local
job openings in each branch.
Both branches offer a large
range of stock products at low
trade prices for tradespeople,
including top brands such as
Makita, Stanley, Milwaukee and
Crown Paints, and essential
products such as: cable, screws,
sealants, plumbing fittings and
tools. The branches also have
single lengths of copper tube,
waste pipes and extra-large tubs
of paint, which are only available
in store.
Toolstation’s dedication to
products and service has resulted
in the company becoming one
of the fastest growing trade and
DIY suppliers. All branches are
open seven days a week. Orders
placed at home or on site by
6pm Monday to Saturday can be
delivered to UK addresses next
business day, with free delivery
on orders over £10.
John Meaden continues, “Our
growth plans in 2015 are set to
see the total amount of Toolstation branches in the UK climb to
over 210 by the end of the year.
The two branches opening in
Sydenham and Isleworth give us
an opportunity to further expand
our presence in Greater London,
enabling us to be nearer to our
busy customers. We now have
over 40 branches within the M25,
with these new branches opening up 14 new local jobs.”
