Trained staff help
sell building products
Training and support from PVCue
building products manufacturer
Kestrel has helped distributor Window Ware achieve near double-digit
growth in roofline product sales.
Bedfordshire-based Window Ware
achieved 9.5% growth in its roofline sales in
2014, and has increased its Kestrel stock to
meet demand.
Window Ware sales office manager Richard Bryant said that the support from Kestrel had been integral to that growth.
“Kestrel has been very supportive,” he
said. “We’ve taken on new staff over the
past year and Kestrel’s business development manager has personally helped to
train them on the technical aspects of their
products. It’s meant that all of members of
staff are able to give up-to-date technical
advice on the Kestrel range.
“The team also created a bespoke quote
matrix for us, which has helped to reduce
the time it takes staff to give detailed pricing information.”
Window Ware, which carries 5,000 stock
items and delivers 99.5% of its top selling
products the next working day, expects to
introduce further Kestrel product lines in
2015.
Kestrel business development manager
Steve Bowden has worked closely with Window Ware to deliver technical sales training
and help Window Ware introduce Kayflow
rainwater goods to their trade counter as
well as a wider range of Kestrel wood grain
products.
Based in Lincolnshire, Kestrel Building
Products supplies a wide range of PVCue
building to housing associations, local authorities architects, distributors and installers.
