A WARM YORKSHIRE WELCOME AT TRADE WINDOW CENTRE

On a crisp autumn morning, Clearview and Pro Installer magazines were welcomed with open arms to Rotherham for a behind-the-scenes tour of one of the UK’ s fastest-growing window and door manufacturers, Trade Window Centre. The company, founded in 2022 by former window fitters Dominic Francis and Ryan Arnold, has come a long way since its humble beginnings. What started out as a small local fabricator, operating from a 2,500 sqft unit, has transformed into a powerhouse with a state-ofthe-art 50,000 sqft facility, with 25,000 sqft dedicated to the production of high-quality PVC-U and aluminium windows and doors for the trade market.
Two tradesmen at heart at the helm
It’ s clear that Dominic and Ryan’ s background as window fitters is key to Trade Window Centre’ s success. Their journey began in a yellow Transit van( which, impressively, they still have), frustrated with the inconsistent quality and pricing of the products they were using on-site. Rather than accept the status quo, they decided to take matters into their own hands, starting their own business to offer better products and service to the trade. This hands-on
approach continues to be at the heart of the company’ s ethos, as they’ re able to combine their deep understanding of the trade with an unwavering commitment to quality.
Their impressive growth over just three years isn’ t just due to their experience, but also to their dedication to reinvesting into the business each year.
Never standing still, from shop floor to trade counters
As we took a tour of their vast production facility, led by Stewart Peat, it was evident that Trade Window Centre’ s ambitious plans are far from over. The company is continuously investing in both infrastructure and people. From consistently expanding and evolving their product range to implementing a more efficient online portal that makes it easier for installers to place orders and access support, it’ s clear that Trade Window Centre is positioning itself as a key player in the future of the industry.
One of the highlights of the tour was learning about their plans for a brand-new consumer brochure, which has since been printed and published. The brochure will not only showcase their expanding product range but also help installers upsell, providing them with the tools and marketing materials to improve sales and grow their business.
And it doesn’ t stop there. Trade Window Centre has ambitious plans to further expand its manufacturing capabilities. More machinery is on the way( as seen later in this magazine), and they’ re set to take on more staff to meet the ever-growing demand for their products.
The best brew in the business
As the tour came to an end, we were invited to enjoy the most essential part of any Yorkshire business visit; a proper brew, and biscuits. In true Yorkshire style, Dominic, Sam Weber( Group
Sales Director), and Natasha Erskine from UK Doors Online made us feel right at home, offering warm hospitality alongside their vision for the future of the business.
“ We’ ve always had one goal,” Dominic said.“ To be the best. The best in quality, the best in service, and to help our customers – installers – be the best they can be. That’ s been our focus from day one, and it always will be.”
Moving towards 2026, getting bigger and better
With big plans on the horizon, including expanding their manufacturing capabilities, enhancing their showroom( a transformation based on their FIT Show stand), and continuing to support installers as they make the transition to the smart home market, Trade Window Centre is certainly a company to watch. Their commitment to offering top-quality products and unwavering support for the trade ensures that they are set for continued growth and success.
