“ EFFICIENCY IS KEY TO THEIR SUCCESS ”

In view of the pressures that have been experienced by fabricator and retail installation companies within the PVCu window industry over the past twelve months it comes as no surprise that there have been major company failures in recent months . There is no doubt that outside factors , such as interest rate rises , fixed mortgages coming to an end , energy increases , and the slowdown in the new build sector , have all weighed heavily on companies balance sheets whose root core business was involved in retail sales and the new build sectors .
An example of this was the unfortunate loss of hundreds of jobs , following the closure of two of the best-known names in the industry , UK Windows and Safestyle .
Whilst most companies are reporting a downturn in business it comes as no surprise that Keyframe UK is reporting increased sales on the year from Jan to November of 6 % compared to the same period in 2022 . This growth is a reflection on the strength of relationships that Keyframe develops with its customer base believing that it is best to concentrate on assisting with the development of its existing customer base rather than continually seeking new business .

In 2024 , they envisage that this upward trend will continue as they are about to announce the production an exciting new product that is due to come on stream early in the new year , this addition will serve to enhance its current range of product offerings . Whilst the company is currently keeping this under wraps at present it is confident that it will serve to increase existing business levels and automatically add additional new business due to the product not widely available from their competitors .
Product quality is one of the major key elements that drives Keyframe forward and has done for the past 30 years . They strive to ensure that they meet these highest possible standards of quality , with continually investment in new machinery and internal training of their highly skilled workforce , this ensures that their productivity levels of frames per man are the best in the industry .
Efficiency is key to their success .
They do however realise that although they put every conceivable effort into ensuring their customers are virtually guaranteed that the product they receive arrives in excellent condition and on time . They understand that “ We do not live in the Carlsberg World ” where everything is perfect , no one should expect that , sometimes things do go wrong it is inevitable . But again , the same high emphasis is put into their customer service , they realise that supporting their customers if they have a problem is critical , customer complaints require quick , decisive and effective action to resolve the complaint . This could be a shortage on delivery , or a damaged frame it does not matter , the main objective is to resolve the matter quickly and efficiently so that the company or trader can continue their installation so as not inconveniencing their client , be that a domestic householder or builder who needs to ensure the continuity of build and not affect other trades following on .
They really do care about the customer . That is the difference .
