Petrol prices are once again on the rise following the fall in value of the pound. And, according to a recent report from the RAC, petrol retailers have been paying less for oil but are not passing on the savings to motorists. The cost of fuel is currently the highest it has been in the last 14 months, with the nationwide average price of unleaded petrol rising to 115.00p / litre and diesel jumping to 116.88p / litre *. This is a stark increase compared to earlier this year. In February, the price was just 101.1p / litre for diesel drivers and 101.5p / litre for petrol **.
