App opens a world
of windows
A new app for iPads allows
users to design their own
window projects by combining different options with
any colour or woodgrain.
The RENOLIT EXOFOL app
opens up its range of exterior
films - one of the largest selections of colours and woodgrains
worldwide.
Available in English and German
it includes an animated quick start
guide.
Users select the required range
tab - metallics, woodgrains or colours - and spin a wheel of samples
until the desired swatch extends
out. Then they drag and drop it on
to the window profile where they
can select the style, rotate between
inside or outside perspective, and
change the wall colour.
The result can be saved to
favourites, compared to different
designs, then emailed or linked to
sample ordering (requires Wi-Fi
connection).
To download the app free from
the app store search for RENOLIT
EXOFOL or follow the link from:
www.renolit.com/exterior. The
app will be on RENOLIT’s website
during 2016.

More than 100 business
leaders and guests joined
celebrations at the launch
of a new London office for
Purplex, the full service marketing agency that serves
the construction and building
products sectors.
The event was at the Mint Leaf
restaurant at Piccadilly, a stone’s
throw from the new Purplex
office at Trafalgar Square. Managing director Andrew Scott said:
“I launched Purplex 11 years ago
and our first ever client was a London-based window manufacturer.
We signed a 12-month marketing
agreement and celebrated afterwards at Mint Leaf, so holding our
London launch event there was
quite symbolic.”
Purplex operates from a 4,500 sq
ft head quarters just outside Bristol
and opened the new office to support its growing UK and international client base. The agency has
a team of more than 40 experts
in PR and comms, branding and
design, web development, online
marketing, video and photography.
Among companies attending
was Hueck, the global supplier of
architectural aluminium profiles.
Leon Friend from Hueck commented: “We appointed Purplex a
year ago and they’ve done a brilliant job for us. They understand
the construction industry and get
results. Hueck has achieved its
growth targets thanks to Purplex
and I would recommend them
to anybody serious about their
marketing.”
The event attracted guests including Jane Tokarczyk, Vice President of Barclays Bank Plc, who
commented: “My first impression
of Purplex has to be its people
and those they do business with –
both are fantastic.”
