Celebrate the
Best of the
Best 2014
Held at the Hilton Hotel, Park Lane, London, this year’s
G-Awards saw some of the window and door industry’s
top names featured in the line up for a G14 award.
Hosted by comedian
Kevin Bridges, the
G-Awards is one of
the most prestigious
events in the Fenestration industry calendar and was attended
by over 500 industry
figures. The evening
saw winners presented
awards in 13 different
categories, including a
special award presented to an individual who
has shown industry
excellence.

An Extra
Special Tribute
Derek Bonnard
Award for Excellence
was presented to
Gary Morton of GM
Fundraising for his
efforts setting up
GM Fundraising.
The charity was set up
in 1995 by Gary, with
monies raised being
donated to Manchester
based, Hope House Children’s Hospice. Gary’s
efforts to raise money
and encourage others
to join in, support and
donate to the cause have
been relentless, with the
charity now on its way to
raising £1million.
Dave Broxton, Managing Director of Bohle
Limited and longstanding friend presented
Gary with his award,
along with Joe Hague,
managing director for
Promac.
Gary commented on
receiving the award:
“I’m shocked, but delighted to receive such
a special accolade, but I
have to say, this is also
a deserved recognition
for the all the team of
volunteers who also
support the cause and
help raise money for
GM Fundraising.”
