Companies signed up to The VEKA UK Group’s Approved Installer
Scheme are wholeheartedly exploring the initiative’s benefits
by making their first orders via its online Marketing Hub.
The Hub can be used by
Approved Installers and Fabricators of both VEKA and
Halo products and provides
a quick, easy and cost-effective shortcut to fully personalised marketing materials.
Amy Grundy, National Sales
Manager for the Approved Installer Scheme is delighted by the
enthusiastic response the Marketing Hub has received: “It’s great
to see the variety of products that
Approved Installers have ordered
for their businesses. We have
already listened to feedback from
our Approved Installers and add-
ed additional items to the Hubs
which they have told us would be
useful.
“For those yet to venture online
and see what’s on offer, there are
leaflets covering specific VEKA
and Halo products, brochures
looking at the whole range, maintenance guides, drop cards, press
adverts and vouchers, as well as
larger items like pull-up displays
and vehicle graphics.”
The Marketing Hub provides
professionally-designed templates
that can be personalised with
company logos, contact details
and copy.
Lawrence Muirhead, owner of
Aberdeen-based Clearview PVCu
has been one of the Marketing
Hub’s most prolific users and
enthusiastic advocates. He explains: “When I first heard about
the Approved Installer Scheme I
thought it was a great idea. Not
only do my potential customers
get huge confidence from my
association with VEKA but I get
fantastic marketing and promotional support too. My brochures,
signage and van livery are all
presented with high quality
consistency that makes a big
difference.”
Naturally roofing
Earlier this year, the new
owners of a beautiful new
build property in Hertfordshire, were able to look out
from their roof terrace to
see a field of yellow; being a
natural grass like roof, using
Roof Assured; Sarnatherm
roof insulation supplied by
Saranfil.
The new home is located in
an area of outstanding, natural
beauty a short walk from one of
the oldest motte and bailey castles
in England. In some areas regulations and incentives make it
desirable to place a green roof on
a new building and, in this case it
seemed a natural choice to specify
a roof that paid tr ibute to the
surrounding natural features and
landmarks.
While the main house having a
slate tiled roof, one section was
created separately and the green
roof covered the main turret.
Roof Technology, a Roof Assured
by Sarnafil Approved Installer, was
commissioned by award winning
builder contractor, Pearson Building, to install the roof.
Peter Lucek, Managing Director,
Roof Technology said: “The green
roof makes a strong statement
within the high design credentials of this innovative new build
project.”
Sarnatherm roof insulation was
laid on the primed roof deck of
all three areas over which was
applied a Sarnafil single ply waterproof membrane and a protection
sheet was laid on the turret and
terrace area. Drainage, a river
stone perimeter and growing medium were then laid ready for the
Sedum matting.
All Sarnafil products used in the
installation are covered by a 15
year guarantee and the Sarnafil
single ply membrane has been independently assessed by the BBA
to last, in their opinion, in excess
of 40 years.

Amy looks to the future of the
Marketing Hub: “The Approved Installer Scheme is still in its relative
infancy so, to see the success it
has achieved in terms of numbers
and the ardent response there
has been to the Marketing Hub is
really encouraging.”
