DEVELOPMENT OF THE
LINIAR BRAND
Do you
have
something
you need
to get
off your
chest?
Liniar is proud to unveil an update to its brand and logo,
together with a refreshed colour palette, in order to provide
more flexibility across a range of media applications.
Sue Davenport, Group
Marketing Director, explains: “As Liniar broadens the channels it uses
for marketing, and as we
work more closely with
our fabricators to develop
marketing tools for them,
we felt the time was right
to refresh the brand.
pletely. The Liniar leaf is both
recognisable and symbolic of
our products’ lead-free attributes,
so it was important to retain the
original leaf shape.

‘A strong positive
acknowledgement’
“We use the Liniar logo in
everything we do, and the brand
already receives strong positive
acknowledgment within the
marketplace so it was critical to
us that we didn’t change it com-
“We feel the new logo gives
Liniar a modern, strong and
clearly identifiable presence,
reflecting its well-earned reputation for innovation and quality.”
Sue continues: “It’s important
to reiterate that we haven’t rebranded – we’ve simply updated
the existing brand to emphasise Liniar’s core values as per
our mission statement: to be
recognised as a leading force for
quality and excellence in product
development – fusing industry
experience with innovation, sustainability and loyalty.
Becoming That Bit More Perfect
So impressed with the Kombimatec 4HDV/140 Four Combination Head Welder they already owned,
Scotland-based manufacturer Perfect Glazing decided to double up and pick up another one.
As one of the most
respected manufacturers and suppliers
of windows, doors and
conservatories in the
UK, Perfect Glazing
knew exactly what they
wanted when searching
for a new welder to
help ease the increased
demand for their products.
Informing Kombimatec of
its need for a new welder,
it only made sense they
purchase another of the
same being they were so
impressed with it first time
around.
‘Any parts needed
to help maintain
its reliability
have always
been pretty
easy to obtain’
Besides being easy to use
and simple to maintain, the
Kombimatec 4HDV/140
welder features individual
start buttons for each head,
has total flexibility, four
heads can be used together
or they can be used in numerous other combinations,
and it adapts quickly when
changing between corners,
transom & cross welding.
Perfect Glazing Director,
David Singh, comments:
“The reason we picked up
the same welder as before
was all down to the first one
being one of the most reliable machines we’ve ever
had,” Singh claims. “Also,
any parts needed to help
maintain its reliability have
always been pretty easy to
obtain.”

Transparent Fuel Costs
The striking County Glass livery is a familiar sight in southern England, as
the company fleet covers the area within 120 miles of its Winchester home.
More than a dozen 7.5 tonne and
3.5 tonne vehicles
are constantly on
the road, carrying
everything from
standard double
glazed units to oneoff custom glazing.
County Glass’ vehicles all
use Shell. “We know that
sticking to Shell FuelSave
means that we are running
on the best possible fuel,”
says Sales director Andy
Hamilton, “with the added
bonus of convenience, as
the nearest filling station
to our headquarters sells
Shell.”
The major reason for
County Glass preferring
to refuel with Shell is that
each of its drivers carries a
Shell fuel card, provided by
Fuel Card Services, part of
The Fuel Card Group. This
means that the company’s
refuelling costs are not just
completely transparent, but
also significantly lower than
previously.
Now, County Glass is advised each Friday of a fixed
diesel price for the coming
week. The price applies na-
