Dean, who moved to Distinction from Howdens Joinery in March, will be tasked with improving the company’s reputation for quality and service by mon- itoring non-conformance reports and implementing measures to eradicate issues in the production process or supply chain. His responsibilities will also include the control of Total Productive Mainte- nance (TPM) to ensure that Distinction’s machinery is operating at suitable quality levels. Joe started in February and forms part of Dean’s team. Inaugural in the newly created role, Joe was brought in to devise and oversee a comprehensive maintenance programme that supports an upsurge in productivity by minimising machinery downtime.
