Director Of
Operations
RISA the inspection and
auditing company for the Glass
and Glazing Federation, has an-
nounced the appointment of Dave
Mechem as Operations Director.
Dave has been with RISA since
January 2016) and was instrumen-
tal in setting up the inspection ser-
vices team for FENSA the leading
competent persons’ scheme in the
glass and glazing sector.
Dave started his career on
“the bottom rung of the ladder”
working as an apprentice for a
small installation business owned
by his family. He quickly pro-
gressed, becoming an installer
then subsequently branching
into surveying and servicing. In
time, the company grew and as a
result was able to invest in a PVCu
fabrication factory, manufacturing
frames for its own windows and
also to supply the wider trade.

May was a winning month for everyone with a sunny
Bank Holiday at either end, but one lucky Synseal Group
customer had even more to celebrate when they won
£2,500 towards a luxury holiday of their choice.
Easyglaze Ltd based in Lin-
coln was the randomly selected
winner of Synseal’s Spring Break
competition – chosen from the
thousands of orders placed across
Synseal’s fully fabricated products
including the WarmCore, Evolve,
K2, Global, Stratus and Celsius
Solid Roof brands.
Synseal Sales Director, Kevin
Warner, said:
“We had such good weather at
the start of spring across the UK,
so we wanted to do something to
remind our customers that sum-
mer was on its way.
“Our pre-fabricated products
have proven to be very popular
with our customers, particularly
smaller fabricators who may not
have the space or staff capacity
to manufacture some of these
products themselves.” The com-

has been selling Synseal products
