TRAINING PROGRAMME RECOGNISED AT AWARDS
The extensive training programme for the hup! building system has been recognised at the GGP Installer Awards 2025 with a win in the category of‘ Best Installer Support Programme or Service Initiative’.
Ultraframe has trained over 4000 installers and builders across the UK to educate them about the benefits of building with hup!, as well as how to sell, survey and build the system via The hup! Training Programme.
This hands-on and fully accessible training programme educates installers to fully understand the product and have the confidence to build with it going forward. This includes one-to-one and group training sessions at venues across the UK, site support for all first hup! builds, live interactive webinar training sessions, watch-anytime webinar recordings and sales training with a renowned industry sales expert.
Ultraframe Marketing Director, Alex Hewitt, said:““ Ultraframe has always advocated the importance of training its customers and over the years has trained over 40k customers. When hup! was launched in 2022, training was always a key part of the launch strategy.
“ The system is something completely new and unique and a totally different way of building than the bricks and mortar our customer base has been used to for years. It was vital, therefore, to not only educate and instruct our installers in how to use the system, but also instil the confidence to make the leap to this new way of working that we knew could transform our customers’ businesses.”

Ramping up trade partner marketing support even further …
Quickslide is already ahead of its competitors when it comes to market leading marketing support. However the company has further added to its initiatives to create a comprehensive Trade Partner Support package, available to all trade partners.
The enhanced support brings together the company’ s full range of marketing tools, from the more tangible showroom and product demonstration products such as the recently launched wheeled sample case, to more intangible bespoke social media ad campaigns for highly targeted lead generation initiatives.
“ This is absolutely next level support for our trade partners, which will give them the edge when competing against other companies in their areas,” said Quickslide’ s sales director Tom Swallow.“ Many of them do not have access to some of the more sophisticated tools that we can offer – they are, after all, brilliant window fitters, but probably not so brilliant digital marketeers. We can help them bridge that gap by supporting with personalised collateral that showcases their skills and success in installing beautiful windows and doors.“ Ultimately every trade partner has different ideas, different skill sets, different goals, and a one size fits all approach to offering marketing support dilutes the overall results we know they are capable of achieving,” continued Tom.“ Our aim is to ensure they have every opportunity to make consistent sales, by making the sales process itself as foolproof as possible. From product training to website configurators and lead generation tools, every opportunity has been explored and a solution found.”
While there’ s no minimum entry level for accessing this marketing support, it’ s the installers who become trade partners and brand ambassadors – working closely with Quickslide in a spirit of loyalty, and mutual success – that benefit the most. It’ s these partnerships that foster two-way communication, allowing Quickslide to adapt its support to fit each individual company’ s personality, helping them thrive in a competitive market.
The growth and development of Quickslide’ s inhouse marketing team has enabled it to invest in a number of essential marketing tools which it can use to enhance campaigns for trade partners – tools which might otherwise be too expensive for smaller individual window companies.
“ It’ s fair to say that we have developed a good instinct for setting our trade partners on the road to success,” concluded Tom Swallow.“ They do have to demonstrate a commitment and energy to collaborate proactively with us – but we find that the combined effort keeps everybody engaged and on our toes. It’ s a win-win all round!”
