“ April 2021 is an exciting month for the team at Ultraframe as it ’ s the month that our new range of Garden Rooms are launched and available to buy . People from every department across the business have worked hard to launch our Garden Rooms as early in 2021 as we could , in response to the current demand for them . While Garden |
Rooms have steadily been growing in popularity over recent years , the consumer appetite for them has really exploded over the last 12 months , as we have all spent so much time in our homes – and realised how much extra space we need ! Of course , our core business is all about conservatories and extensions , and while demand for these is also high , Garden Rooms serve a |
different need . They are an ideal place to escape from the hustle and bustle of the home and retreat into the garden to work , workout or chill out .
When we started designing our Garden Rooms , light was a key element , as it is on all Ultraframe systems . We felt it was important that if you are spending time in a Garden Room , you feel like you are out in the garden from all angles – including the roof above . Ultraframe Garden Rooms are available in two styles – the Studio with its reverse lean-to roof , and the Pavilion with its Georgian style roof – and it is a key unique selling point that both styles can feature stunning full length glazed panels in the roof . These can be situated in various locations in the roof , dependent on the homeowner ’ s preference and where they would like to bring natural light into the room below . For example , if a Garden Room is to be used as a home office , the homeowner may choose to position the glazed panels directly over the desk area to ensure plenty of natural light for working . Other homeowners may simply choose to space the glazed panels out across the width of the roof – the choice is theirs . The front elevation of our Garden Rooms feature French Doors and full-length windows and further full length windows can be added into the side walls if desired . All of this means that Ultraframe Garden Rooms will be filled with natural light which makes them feel more welcoming to spend time in , makes the
|
space feel larger , and also enhances your mood when in the room .
Set up into the plastered internals of the roof , the fulllength panels are glazed in blue high-performance glass and this means that the interior of an Ultraframe Garden Room will always be filled with huge amounts of natural light . The high-performance properties of the glazing ensure a room that will maintain a comfortable temperature all year round , as well as protecting furniture within from fading . Whether using our Garden Rooms as a home office , a gym , or simply a place to relax , there is no substitute for the mood-boosting properties of natural light , and we are certain that this unique feature will be a huge attraction to homeowners , as well as providing our installers with a real unique selling point .
While the glazing panels in the roof are very large , this is not at the expense of the energy efficiency of our Garden Rooms . In fact , due to the high-performance components used , Ultraframe Garden Rooms are twice as energy efficient as other premium Garden Rooms and the roof and the walls are actually warm enough to meet Building Regulations

requirements for home extensions . The roof on both the Studio and Pavilion is our award-winning Livinroof , which offers a U-Value of 0.16 , and is finished in ever-popular anthracite grey , along with the windows and doors , for a contemporary aesthetic . Ultraframe ’ s unique Super-Insulated Columns are also a key factor in the energy efficiency of our Garden Rooms . Featuring on both styles , they are five times more thermally efficient than brick piers of the same size . The columns not only offer excellent energy efficiency , but also add a stunning contemporary look to the Garden Rooms and are situated on all four corners . |
