PREMIER ROOF SYSTEMS : CLASSIC ACQUISITION ON 10TH ANNIVERSARY

Leading roof manufacturer Premier Roof Systems is proud to have recently turned 10 . During this time the North East based business has seen impressive growth on the back of tireless work and dedication from founders Jamie Blackwood and Chris Mullen , and Managing Director , Pouya Bostani .
Premier Roof Systems strength lies in the ability to manufacture and supply a diverse range of cutting edge roof systems from leading brands in the industry . A wealth of industry knowledge and expertise within their sales , design and manufacturing teams means Premier Roof Systems ( PRS ) is continually at the forefront of high-quality roof design and manufacture .
PRS roof systems can be designed and tailored to a range of different building types including Extensions , Orangeries , Conservatories and even outbuildings such as Garages and Garden rooms . Popular sky light options such as Lanterns and Flat roof lights continue to prove popular among both trade and private customers . In recent years and especially during 2020 , PRS reported seeing huge demand in home improvement projects which led to further growth in the company .
A classic acquisition
This growth led to PRS making its first acquisition earlier this year ; taking over long-standing customer Classic Windows , and its impressive facility in County Durham , and continue to employ the 10 strong team . This has enabled PRS to offer an even better service than ever before .
The acquisition is the result of a decade of success at PRS , with turnover having risen by 36 per cent and earnings by 101 per cent .
It ’ s just the first step in their ambitious growth plans , which
are focused around becoming the market leader for fenestration products in the UK .
PRS manufacturing director Jamie Blackwood said : “ We have dealt with Classic Windows from our very first year in business .
“ We always knew they had a great reputation for supplying high quality products , as well as offering a great service to their customers , and the fact that they had already been established for almost 20 years before PRS began to trade is a testament to what a strong company
has been developed over the years .”
Managing director Pouya Bostani added : “ The two firms have a lot of crossover , which is why they were one of the first names that came to mind as we continue to scale .
“ Such common markets will provide the opportunities for increased production volumes , efficient operations and a broader product range .
“ However , we ’ re not stopping there , and have exciting plans for further acquisitions to create a
network of trade supply branches and a logistics fleet serving the whole of the UK .”
Sales director Chris Mullen added : “ The idea of a one-stop shop appeals to tradespeople , and we will have the ability to service customers more competitively now that we have control over uPVC windows and doors .
“ In five years ’ time , I ’ d like to see us with a network of hubs across the UK manufacturing and supplying uPVC and aluminium windows and doors , conservatories , roof lanterns and flat rooflights .”
The team
The success behind PRS wouldn ’ t have been possible without the hard work and dedication of everyone involved , said MD Pouya Bostani . The entire team have , and always will be , integral to the ongoing growth and success of the company . Pouya added : “ We are very grateful to have a team who all work incredibly hard and we understand as an employer , that we have a responsibility to try and keep our employees happy and we believe a testament to this is the fact that the first two employees that ever worked for us , still work for us to this day , 10 years later .”
To the next 10
If the last 10 years are anything to go by then the future of PRS looks in good health . Plans continue to be based around growth and expanding operations around the UK and we wouldn ’ t rule out further acquisitions in the not-toodistant future . The primary focus however is to continue offering an exceptional range of roof products and exceptional customer service . This year PRS are set to continue strengthening ties with top manufacturers and a strong focus is going to be on growing the digital side of the business . Pouya Bostani added : Our strategy is to bolstering our IT infrastructure and continue to adopt important marketing techniques . We ’ re confident that our digitisation programme will not only allow us to keep pace with the changing industry landscape , but allow us to keep one step ahead .”
