Victorian Sliders confirm attendance at rescheduled FIT Show
A STELLAR SIX MONTHS FOR BDC ALUMINIUM
Experienced aluminium fabricator BDC Aluminium began fabricating Stellar , the multi-award-winning aluminium window and door system from Epwin Window Systems , in September 2020 . The company has reported a sharp increase in demand as a result . David Green , Managing Director of BDC Aluminium , said : “ From the start , we knew that Stellar offered the industry something ground-breaking due to the superb flush aesthetics and speed of installation . And it would seem our customers agree . We have seen a huge upturn in demand for Stellar as our trade customers appreciate what the products deliver .”
Stellar is an intelligently designed aluminium window and door system that is quick and easy to install . The speed and ease of fitting are down to the system ’ s pre-gasketed knock in beads which speeds up the installation process and is why more and more installers are turning to Stellar . David said : “ My background is in retail sales , so I understand the advantages that quick and easy to fit products deliver . Stellar fits like PVC-U so for installers looking to add aluminium products into their portfolio , the transition is very straightforward .”
Stellar ’ s fast fitting properties is something that is appreciated by BDC Aluminium ’ s customer , the Windowstore in Eastbourne . Paul Fear , Regional Manager of the Windowstore , said : “ Stellar is proving popular with our trade fitters and we have seen a sharp surge in sales for the bifolding door . Stellar is 30-40 % quicker to install and once installers discover this , they seldom return to other aluminium products .”
The Windowstore has been working with BDC Aluminium for several months and the team has been delighted by the quality of manufacture and the quick , efficient service . Paul said : “ The service we receive from BDC Aluminium is excellent . Aluminium products have a reputation of being on long lead times compared to PVC-U products , but Stellar from BDC is manufactured and delivered quickly , which helps with our own order schedule .
Based in Essex , BDC Aluminium has over 15 years ’ experience in manufacturing aluminium windows and doors . The company recently made several largescale investments in its operations to help deliver exceptional quality and a competitive service on its products .
Stellar is the latest addition to the Epwin Window Systems ’ portfolio and was designed to deliver a step-change in aluminium system design . It ’ s a move that Victorian Sliders completely endorses , as Group Managing Director Andy Jones explains ; “ If we ’ ve all learned anything in the last year , it ’ s that the pandemic is extremely unpredictable - and when the third lockdown was imposed in response to rapidly rising cases , it quickly became clear that an event of that kind just wouldn ’ t be feasible in the Spring .
