Insight Data helps
sales and marketing
teams work remotely
The current Coronavirus
crisis has forced companies to
rethink how they operate with
remote-working now essential.
It is crucial at this time that com-
panies ‘keep the wheels turning’
and Insight Data’s remote-working
database platform, Salestracker,
could be the answer.
The system enables sales,
marketing, customer service and
telesales teams to access cus-
tomer and prospect information
online remotely via PC, tablet or
mobile phone.
Jade Greenhow, Operations
Director of Insight Data, said:
“Given the current unprec-
edented circumstances it is
impossible for trade and commer-
cial reps to attend meetings, but
using Salestracker they can be
productive working from home
– speaking to customers, compil-
ing prospect lists and calling or
emailing potential customers.”
“Many companies now use Sal-
estracker to enable telesales and
customer service teams to work
remotely, as the system records
and date-stamps every activity
so managers can keep an eye on
productivity.”
Salestracker provides users with
an online database with detailed
business information on over
60,000 companies including win-
dow companies, house-builders,
local builders, main contractors,
merchants and architects.
It also has a built-in CRM
system to help users manage
customers, research prospects
and track potential customers
and leads. Cloud storage means
documents can be stored and
shared, such as quotes and pro-

As the UK enters a period of significant restrictions over
the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, leading safety and
compliance expert Bureau Veritas has released a new
Emergency Preparedness Pack to help businesses respond
rapidly to the growing risks of this global pandemic.
The 15-page document has
been created to help businesses
identify and address the risk
factors that coronavirus presents
to their employees, business op-
erations and service users.
Breaking down current govern-
ment guidelines on the outbreak,
the pack highlights immediate
action that can be taken in each
area. This ranges from imple-
menting a ‘social distancing’ rota
system, for industries that cannot
adopt remote working, to identi-
fying whether some service users
are from vulnerable groups thus
will need special arrangements.
According to Bureau Veritas,
its new emergency recommenda-
tions also sets out how firms can
manage and maintain compli-
ance in current circumstances,
particularly statutory compliance
across their organisations in
areas including electrical safety,
certification, asbestos, indoor
air and water quality, and fire
safety.
