Established in 1998 and installing
PVC-UE roofline across South Wales, Mac
Home Improvements, the leading roofline
specialist in South Wales, provides profes-
sional installation of fascias, soffits, guttering
and cladding. The company has used Free-

Catherine Bressington, Director of Mac

Quickslide Bolsters Sales Team

best Manufacturing Company in the region,
with the team collecting a custom-made
trophy in front of more than 1,000 of their
business peers at the prestigious Red Rose
Awards 2019.
The Red Rose Awards, organised by Lan-
cashire Business View magazine, are held
in Blackpool’s iconic Winter Gardens each
year, and honour the best, most inspiration-
al and most innovative businesses operating
in Lancashire. VEKA Group is no stranger to
the awards, having been named both ‘Best
Large Business’ and ‘Employer of the Year’
in the last two years.
The company faced tough competition
from others across the county, and was
selected out of hundreds of nominations.
VEKA Group was proud to have reached
the competitive shortlist in three categories

Epwin Window Systems
announces investment in new
300,000 square foot warehouse
and distribution centre
The UK’s most successful systems
supplier, Epwin Window Systems, has just
announced investment in a new 300,000
square foot distribution centre in Telford,
Shropshire. Clare O’Hara, Managing Direc-
tor at Epwin Window Systems, said: “We are
making a significant investment in a brand
new, state-of-the-art warehouse and distri-
bution centre which will open in Telford by
the end of the year.”
Clare continued: “We are committed to
investing for the future and delivering
exceptional products and service to the UK
market as demand continues to grow. The
new warehouse and distribution centre will
help us to do that.”
The new facility is just one part of a wider
programme of investment for Epwin Window
Systems this year. The company is also about
to expand its extrusion capacity by more than
40% and increase foiling capacity by a further
30%. And alongside investment in its facilities,
product development continues apace.
