‘inspirers’ list
Trade fabricator Glazerite
Windows Ltd has earned a
place on the London Stock
Exchange’s ‘1000 Companies
To Inspire Britain’ list, recognising high-growth companies
that have outperformed industry peers and played a part in
creating ‘an entrepreneurship
revolution’.
Glazerite was chosen as one of the
country’s ‘fastest-growing and most
exciting and dynamic small and medium sized businesses’, according
to London Stock Exchange Group
Chief Executive, Xavier Rolet, who
added:
“This report is a significant part of
London Stock Exchange’s broader campaign to support UK high
growth companies in their journeys
from Start-up to Stardom and to create an entrepreneurship revolution.
I’m delighted that a strong alliance
between UK Government, financial
market participants, investors, entrepreneurs and companies has been
created to support these inspiring
businesses.”
Chancellor George Osborne, writing in the foreword to the report,
added: “This is a remarkable list of
outstanding companies, businesses
built by the drive, commitment and
vision of Britain’s entrepreneurs and
business leaders. It is my privilege
to be able to congratulate them
all.”
Glazerite Director Jason Thompson replied: “It is a great honour for
us to be chosen among the best of
the best of the country’s small and
medium businesses but we really
must share the credit with all of our
customers, suppliers and staff who
have done so much to make Glazerite the success it is today.
“Now that we have gained this
accolade, we will go on doing our
best to make sure we continue to
live up to it.”
