PROFESSOR PERVAIZ AHMED

I am delighted to present this report as our commitment to the UN Principles of Responsible Management Education . We became a signatory member of PRME in 2017 , and over the course of these years we have strengthened our efforts and initiatives to advance social responsibility . Our activities and actions across teaching , research and engagement have been important in instilling the core values of social responsibility into the fabric of everything we do and how we think . The 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals feature in our actions and behaviors , and act as a guidepost to the School ’ s mission to make a meaningful impact in the conduct of business in Asia and beyond .
Being part of the PRME network has also helped us to keep focused on the social responsibility agenda , and also to learn from and share with other members our challenges and successes in working towards a better and more inclusive world . And through the PRME initiative we have managed not just to sensitize our faculty but also our student body to the important role that business must play in preserving our delicate world , in which all things animate and inanimate are considered as part of the ecosystem in arriving at business decisions . I look forward to continuing our work in conjunction with PRME , and working closely with regional ASEAN chapter members to increase our collective efforts and impact .
