Principal's Address

With great joy and pride, I would like to introduce the annual school magazine, Pristine Pride 2017-18. Yet another successful year in the amazing and fulfilling journey of Pristine Private School. This is clearly a school which has touched the lives of so many students, nurtured them and made them ready for the future. Alumni across the globe both pursuing work and higher studies emotionally wished their dear Pristine, as the school this year celebrated its silver jubilee. AY 2017-18 was once again a year overflowing with achievements and successes. The year witnessed some wonderful learning experiences for the students created by the committed team of teachers and leaders. I can never stop thanking them enough for their contribution to this successful journey of the school.

Our compassionate global citizens are getting skilled and equipped to prosper and face the challenges of the 21st century. Numerous learning experiences both within and out of the four walls of the classroom, articulately designed by the teachers and senior leaders are what is enabling this to happen so smoothly. Passion to pursue their dreams and the ability to take risks is what we embed in our students. Resilience and commitment are other important attributes that we inculcate in the children. Pristine firmly believes that education is not just bookish knowledge but the development of each child’s personality to its maximum potential. In view of celebrating diversity and understanding the value tolerance, Pristinians from a very young age are encouraged to respect others, understand human rights and their own and other cultures. They recognise their rights and responsibilities well. Moreover, students are encouraged to reduce, reuse and recycle in order to create a sustainable environment and I would like to encourage the parents to do the same.

Academic accomplishments of the students continued to be outstanding. Students achieved great results in the International Benchmark and External Cambridge International Exams. The very recent PIRLS (Progress of International Reading and Literacy Study) report, which is conducted for Year 5 students indicates a high international benchmark reading literacy score of 622. This confirms that our student performance is significantly higher than the PIRLS centre-point and all participating schools in Dubai, which is indeed a great accomplishment.

Creating pathways of excellence and moving onward and upward is the key priority of the school where each member shares the vision of providing quality first education to every child in the school. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all stakeholders for their continued support and would strongly urge the parent community to come forward and wholeheartedly participate in the wide range of parent engagement activities which the school organizes regularly. Motivate and support your child to dream big and help them accomplish it with perseverance and

optimism.

Onward and Upward!
