A TOLERANT VIEW OF THE WORLD
As UAE celebrates Tolerance, the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) hosted What Works Tolerance, Building bridges – Respect, Acceptance, Appreciation on the 29th of April. The event brought together educators and students to focus on how teaching and learning should evoke a sense of tolerance in a knowledge driven society where diversity is a key component.
PPS was privileged to be part of this event at IMG World as ten students volunteered to facilitate the day along with KHDA staff. Students carried out several responsibilities such as directing teachers to their venues, collecting feedback and assisting the IT staff in smooth conduction of the event. Activities and sessions further developed their insight into the process of learning and emulating the important value of tolerance in a diverse community.
