But again, this was ex- pected as this is not our forte. Days later from now, at the Indiaplast exhibition at the same venue, we will display the same slitting and rewinding machine with our new extrusion lamination machine and a Cerutti print station. We will be targeting big converting houses such as Huhtam- aki PPL and Creative Polypack among others,” says Hiren Solanki, marketing executive at Pelican. For the Printpack show, the com- pany invited a few of its customers who had visited the Pelican stand and witnessed its TTR slitting and re- winding machine running. However, Solanki says that the overall response has been good and the company has received quite a few enquiries during the show. We also managed to gain some customers up north,” Solanki adds. The company is also planning to expand the portfolio of the machines in the upcoming year. Apart from the new extrusion lamination machine that the company has recently introduced, it plans to bring out a fully engineered CI Flexo machine. Earlier, the company was offering stack type flexo machine and now plans to bring CI Flexo to the market.
