Giggle and Grin A teacher gave her class a three minute test, to see who could accurately follow instructions: 1. 2. Write your name in the upper right hand corner of this paper. 3. Circle the word ‘name’ in sentence two. 4. Draw 5 small squares under your name at the top of this paper. 5. Put an ‘x’ in each of the squares you have just drawn. 6. Put a circle around each square. 7. Under your name and circled squares, right ‘yes, yes, yes’. 8. A school teacher injured his back and had to wear a plaster cast around the upper part of his body. It fit under his shirt and was not noticeable at all. On the first day of the term, still with the cast under his shirt, he found himself assigned to the toughest students in school. Walking confidently into the rowdy classroom, he opened the window as wide as possible and then busied himself with desk work. When a strong breeze made his tie flap, he took the desk stapler and stapled the tie to his chest. He had no trouble with discipline that term. Read every question before you start the test. Underline sentences seven and eight. 9. Put an ‘x’ in the lower left hand corner of this test. 10. Draw a triangle around the ‘x’ from line nine. 11. Multiply seven by thirty, anywhere on this page. 12. If you have reached this point in the test, loudly call out your name. 13. Now that you have finished reading the whole test, do only numbers one and two. Most of the class failed. From a cool chemistry teacher. Four year 12 high school students wagged morning classes, arriving at recess and reporting to the Principal that they were late due to had a flat tire. Much to their relief he smiled and said: "Well, you missed a test today so take seats apart from one another and take out a piece of paper." Still smiling, he waited for them to sit down then said: "First Question: Which tire was flat?" 25 Printed Post Subscription Dont miss your copy of your favourite magazine $25 covers postage 12 months subscription E: [email protected] Ph: 02 6993 2016
