The Hay Darts Singles Tournament had one of their best ‘ roll ups ’ for a long time : twenty eight players ( 16 men , 12 women ). Players vying for the Hay Bowling Club Trophy , played in a knock out competition until only two of each sex were left holding the darts .
Kerrie Rennie beat Julie Crocker for the Women ' s Singles and Damien Crocker beat Red Darlow for the Men ’ s .
The competition pits friend against friend and team mate against team mate , in games where good natured ribbing and sledging are par for the course . Darts is a very social game and all comers are invited to play in the town doubles on the Thursday 25th July at the Hay Services Club .

Best of Luck : I hope I Win . Bust : More points than I needed . How many do I need ?: I have had so many beers I can no longer do the math . Double ONE NO !!!!: There appears to be a superstition that double one is harder to get than any other double . Check Dart : You got the double you needed . Oh Lucky : Hmm looks like you might beat me .
