“ Can Assist- what a busy weekend. The weather was glorious thats for sure, for The Mini Car Clubs 46th year in Hay. Saturday stall at the Mini Car show and shine we sold out of Hot dogs and sold a few items that were donated to Can Assist to make a few extra dollars. Sunday the Motorkhana Held at " Willunga ", we started early cooking breaky from 7.30am and continuing thru to lunch and beyond. The mini car enthusiasts and organisers we very happy with the spread we had dished up. We finished up around 4pm, then sat back and watched the final runs of Hays Hero ' s Competiton. Mini Car Club organisers were so happy with us that we are already booked for next years event..... Woo Hoo... Can ' t wait til next year...!!!“
“ Then there is the trailer which has to be stripped naked and cleaned from top to bottom the replenished for the next event. Well thats all part of being a volunteer, but i do enjoy it. Best part is knowing that all the money raised is going to help cancer patients through such a difficult time in their life, and that is what keeps us going.“ Exerpts from Can Assist Hay facebook page.
