Garry with a cheque from a ‘Blues’ Golf
day and one from the Bowling Club.
Master MC Parra Montgomery
entertained the huge crowd with his
witty repartee and a few ’Parra type’
jokes. He also thanked Jodie for “giving
Garry this clip around the ears.”
Jeff McDougal (Landmark) was on
hand to conduct auctions for donated
items. Bids were also placed on Garry’s
beard and a bucket sent round for his
eye brows.

Barb Mitchell, Biddy Sevenhuysen and Bev Edwards: ‘manned’ the raffle
ticket table. Betty McGrath donated some of her hand knitted beanies,
which were snapped up quickly as the night was cold outside.
Before the main event, social bowlers
gathered on the greens for a bit of fun.
Visitors to Hay joined in with first timers and
seasoned bowlers on a day when the sun
shone warm and bright.
