Mother Nature Takes a Break - The End ‘It’s harder to explain without Enyahs, but I’ll get you two started and he can catch up when he returns from where ever he is.” CHAPTER 21 Poring over the new revised maps, it became clear to the board members that something was happening with Nino and Nina. Cyan told Wehttam and Yelhsa about the Boards decision and summarised the plan to them. “The effects are moving, can you two see that?” he queried Eus and Clime. The others nodded, looking over the previous week’s inadequate maps and comparing them to this new one. They could all see a change was occurring. “There is to be no rain around the Devil’s Marble area,” Cyan stipulated, “Atteir is going to have a hard time repairing that area as it is.” “You’re sending us out again?” questioned Wehttam, “I thought we would be grounded after what we did down there.” “Should we call the twins in and find out what’s happening?” asked Clime. “Ordinarily we would have punished you for disobeying Naturalis’ laws. However no permanent damage was done and we think you three need a chance to redeem yourselves. This is a very important time for all of us. Weather is changing for the better and you are going to be a part of it. Now get down there and show us how well you can do.” “No,” replied Cyan, “Let it go for a while longer. I have a feeling that what ever the problem has been with Nino, its being resolved. Let’s not interfere unless we have to.” Eus smiled to herself. Cyan had a feeling that Nino was pulling for the team now and he didn’t want to upset the boy. What ever had changed his mind and made him move, it was better not to let on they knew until he was ready to tell them. Yelhsa asked where the girls were and Cyan explained their new positions. Looking over the updated map, it was now time to decide what weather was needed and where. Copious notes were made. It was decided that Australia would be the top priority for the time being, the rest of the world could carry on as it had been for the last few years. “I have to make it rain myself from my own clouds,” Yelhsa asked faintly. “I can’t do that, the rain workers won’t listen to me.” “They will,” explained Eus gently, “All the departments have been sent letters of explanation. They know you run rain as well now. Same for you Wehttam, you produce thunder as well as lightening now.” “If we concentrate continent by continent, we have a far better chance of correcting the whole world in a few short years,” explained Cyan. “I always did. What about Enyahs?” asked Wehttam a little put out that Enyahs seemed to have no extra responsibilities? “Ok.” said Eus, “Where do we start in Australia?” Cyan outlined a plan, whereby the desert and mid-lands areas would get more rain and the coast could do with less. Farmers inland needed rain urgently. “He has enough responsibilities now, so Enyahs will get nothing extra. Don’t you think that trying to control all the various types of wind is enough? Wait till we start on America and ask him to stop the tornados, or control hurricanes. You think he will have it reasonably easy in Australia, think again. Enyahs has just become aware of some of his responsibilities and you will see when he returns just how hard his job is going to be in future.” Eus replied, “Just worry about what you h
