The Mother’s Day Classic run & walk is a great way to celebrate Mother’s Day and raise funds for Breast Cancer research. In Hay, seventy six participants entered the Classic and enjoyed a river walk around Bushy Bend to Sandy Point, returning to the Lion’s Park on a lovely autumn morning. Men, women, the young and the not so young, dressed in pink to show support and raise funds for Breast Cancer research. Organiser, Liz Matthews thanked everyone involved in the morning and hopes everyone will spread the word for next years event.
