The 2HayFM Trash and Treasure market at the railway station has been proving very popular since it’s inception late in 2013 . Clothing stalls, pre-loved goods tables and baked goodies booths attract a good crowd of bargain hunters but things may be about to change. With the cooler weather about to descend, organisers are planning something different for the railway platform. According to 2HayFM Board President, Marg Myers , “Numbers at the markets might drop off over the cold months, so we are planning on afternoon teas at the station.” Times and dates are yet to be finalised so listen to 2HayFm community radio, your local radio station, for more details in the near future.
