For Can Assist
The Can Assist Garage sale held
22nd March, has been hailed as a
huge success by the organisation.
“Thanks to everyone who attended
made a purchase or made a
monetary donation. We raised over
$1,350.00 Thanks Hay..!!” says their
facebook page.

Garry May Kick started his fundraising
for his upcoming head shave for Can
Assist Hay Branch, with the proceeds
from the sausage sizzle today with
just over $120 in the kitty.

With many items left from the garage
sale, volunteers manned the Royce
Curtis Service Station premises for a
few hrs a day the following week to
sell what is left over.
Can Assist volunteers have been
busy over the last few weeks manning
the BBQ at the Poker run, running the
at Gill’s Greatest Shave and the one
Tree Music Festival, which included
an early morning start for breakfast.

Can Assist is a charity which provides
accommodation, practical support and
financial assistance to country people
in NSW affected by any type of
cancer.

In July, Garry May will once again
lose his hair to raise money for Can
Assist. This year Garry hopes to raise
$12,862 to bring his total, over 3
shaves, to $50,000.

fundraising kick off, which raised
