Christmas visits by Santa
Scorching temperatures in the lead up
to Christmas Day did not stop Santa
and his special envoys visiting boys
and girls of all ages.
Sechia Darlow, volunteer, and
Melissa Adams, Kitchen Staff, at
Haydays Retirement Hostel got the
chance of a quick chat with Santa.
Residents and their families enjoyed a
Christmas Lunch prepared and
served by Haydays staff. Top Right:
Beryl and Gwen Donohue and Ethel
O'Donnell.
Left: Jack McClure and Santa shared
a joke.
Right: Mrs Harrison and daughter in
law Kitty. Santa handed out lollies to
all at the lunch.
Santa met Steve Sharp in Lachlan a
few days before Christmas. Steve
assured Santa that he had been a
good boy, before heading of to his
keyboard and entertaining shoppers
in Lachlan Street.
Gaylene Stevens and Jodi Plant were
busy taking photos of children, and
some children at heart.
Temperatures over the two days of
Santas visit reached the low 40’s and
Santa was ready to get back to the
North Pole and cooler conditions.
