Darts News The Hay Darts Committee are calling for teams and individuals to nominate for this years darts competition. Nomination forms are available at local Hotels and Clubs and the committee is asking prospective players to “get their nominations in quick”, for a late March/early April start to the competition. Players of all calibres are invited to play and are advised to be prepared to have fun. Games are played on Thursday nights, and start at 7pm. A well attended second attempt for the darts committee’s Annual General Meeting was conducted in January. Executive positions were filled with Garry May President, Daniel Eason Vice President, Debbie Lumley Secretary and Kerry Rennie Treasurer. A strong committee with fourteen participants was also formed. Any enquiries contact Garry May: 0429 059 738 Aerial Disconnections In March 2HayFM (Community Radio) Board of Management advise that they will be undertaking annual maintenance on the transmitter mast located in Hay; in particular re-positioning the current radio aerials to improve broadcasting coverage. This maintenance will require all aerials, other than 2HayFM, to be disconnected during the work. Maintenance is scheduled to commence during the first week of March 2014 and will take around five days to complete. As the board have no record as to which organisations/individuals have located an aerial on the mast, we ask that if you have an aerial located on the transmitter mast, then please contact the Radio Station’s Administrative Assistant, Becky Hyde on 02 6993 1205 or email [email protected]. When contacting Becky, please ensure you advise details of who owns the aerial and the reason the aerial is located on the transmitter mast. 2HayFM apolog
