Celebrating 220 years
of marriage
Jim and Beryl Bisset’s home in Lang Street held major celebrations early in December, when four local
couples celebrated their 55th wedding anniversaries. Jim and Beryl, Rosie and Ted Pedley, Anna and Greg
Antonakas and Betty and Ned Curtis were all married in 1959. All weddings were held within a period of two
months.
Family and friends gathered to celebrate with the couples, many having been married for over 50 years
themselves.
