“A camel walks into a bar...no not the beginning of a joke, just another day at The Booligal Hotel. Camel rides for a Christmas thanks to Rhype Transport. Definitely no wise men spotted at the bar.” Caption from the Long Paddock face book page. A different mode of transport for these livestock carriers. Rhyne and ‘Horse’ of Rhype Transport brought camels to their Christmas party at Booligal. Christmas with Camels Like something out of a Henry Lawson or Banjo Patterson poem, camels came to visit Booligal, much to the enjoyment of those attending the Rhype Transport Christmas Party. Rhype Transport held their annual Christmas Party at Booligal recently and on the guest list were a few four legged friends. Much to the joy of children and adults, camel rides were part of the celebrations. Rhyne and ‘Horse’ have a tradition of throwing parties with something different for everyone and this year it was piñata's and camels . The camel pictured above is the smallest of the visiting animals and according to Rhyne and Lisa from the Booligal Pub, was the only one small enough to get through the door. Many thanks to Lisa for supplying the photo, and the knowledge that the camel did not actually partake of the refreshment offered.
